Founded in 1997 by World Relief as Urwego Community Banking, the bank joined the HOPE International network in 2005, shortly after Peter Greer became HOPE’s president. In 2007, the bank merged with Opportunity International Bank of Rwanda to become Urwego Opportunity Bank.

With the approval of the National Bank of Rwanda, Opportunity International sold its 50 percent ownership of Urwego to HOPE International in 2017, making HOPE a 99 percent shareholder in the bank, with World Relief continuing to own 1 percent. “We are delighted to deepen our long-standing partnership with Urwego,” said Greer. “We are confident in Urwego’s team and have seen their example of Christ-like servant leadership. Request for quotations “RFQ 2025/03/LOG//Op/006 for printing Bank slip for Urwego Finance CBC

Urwego Finance CBC (herein referred to as the bank) hereby invites interested professional companies to submit their financial proposal for printing Double listing Bank slip (bordereaux).

Please note also the following:

  • All quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes with the following mentions:             RFQ 2025/03/OP/LOG/006 for printing Bank slip (bordereaux) and submit it at Urwego’s reception head office at Remera Kisimenti, plot 428, KG5  RD,  UMUYENZI PLAZA, Remera Sector, Gasabo, Tel. +250  788173100,  Website : www.urwegofinance.com;
  • The quotation received and acknowledged at the HO, will be opened and analyzed for selection by Urwego  tender Committee Members who will thereafter inform each bidder of selection decision through emails.
  • The quotation should include the VAT Certificate, a valid clearance Certified issued by RRA, RDB certificate and Note that the bidder should be in the field tying with this present tender and the bidder  should include 2 completion certificates for supply printing materials;  from a reputable company for similar works.
  • Note : The selected company will supply all ordered bank slip at Urwego Finance store located at Remera Kisimenti .
  • Note: The size of the bank slip is as follows: 12cm*6”*6000 copies/carton.
  •  Note: The sample of the bank slip , interested company can get it from any  Urwego Finance Branch  and for more information contact this number: 0788536052.
