Bids must be delivered by hand to the FAO Rwanda office in a sealed envelope and must be received by mail no later than 23rd October 2025. 

General Conditions: 

  1. Bids should be submitted using the Bid Submission Form.
  2. The item(s) will be awarded to the highest bidder.
  3. Late bids will be rejected. 
  4. Bids to be submitted in Rwandan Francs

Submission of Offers:

  • Offers must be typed, signed, and clearly marked “Assets Purchase”.
  • Each offer must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit slip of Twenty Thousand Rwandan Francs (20,000 RWF), payable to:
    - Account No.: 6775006468-RWF
    - Bank: Ecobank Rwanda
    - Account Name: Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)

Warranty: 

All item(s) are offered for sale on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind. 

Terms of Sale: 

  1. Upon notification, the successful bidder must pay within five (5) business days in cash or certified cheque payable to FAO. Should the successful bidder fail to arrange payment within five (5) business days, the item(s) may be offered to the second-highest bidder. 
  2. The item(s) will be handed over to the purchaser after payment is received in full.
  3. Payment of any transfer fees, taxes, insurance, or any other such cost shall be at the expense of the purchaser. 
  4. FAO reserves the right not to accept any offer and to request new bids.
  5. Item(s) must be collected no later than 30th October 2025 at the following address: FAO Rwanda Conference Room at the buyer’s expense. 
  6. FAO will issue a receipt (Bill of Sale) to the buyer.
  7. A FAO Property Transfer Form must be signed by both Parties.
