Job Description - Junior AI Software Developer Intern

Company Overview:

SMART IT CONSULTING Ltd (SiC) is a dynamic startup IT company focused on developing and maintaining cutting-edge enterprise applications (Odoo framework, Dolibarr, Lime survey) and both iOS and Android mobile apps (Flutter framework and React Native library).

Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that drive business efficiency and growth. As main references of our services, Include:

  • Public web portals like Job in Rwanda and House in Rwanda
  • Multi-user mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • SiC Ltd is also provides HRMS platforms for different companies including employee management, payroll computation, attendance management and so on.

It is in this context that we are looking for passionate Junior AI Software Developer Intern to join our growing team and help us develop RecruitGPT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and address assigned tickets to provide effective solutions.
  • Develop an OpenAI-powered assistant and seamlessly integrate it into the existing CV search tool.
  • Identify and resolve bugs reported by end-users to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Manage and track assigned tickets using JIRA for organized workflow management
  • Version and manage source code using Git with Bitbucket as the remote repository.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in React for building responsive user interfaces, proficiency in Angular is preferred.
  • Strong experience with Python and Familiarity with OpenAI technologies is a significant advantage.
  •  Proficient in Git operations, including commit, push, pull, and pull requests.
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems like Jira is beneficial, Experience with agile practices is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure consistent productivity.
  • Ability to dedicate a minimum of six hours daily to project responsibilities.
