Job Description - Mobile App Software Developer

Company Overview:

SMART IT CONSULTING Ltd (SiC) is a dynamic startup IT company focused on developing and maintaining cutting-edge enterprise applications (Odoo framework, Dolibarr, Lime survey) and both iOS and Android mobile apps (Flutter framework and React Native library).

Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that drive business efficiency and growth. As main references of our services include:

  • Public web portals like Job in Rwanda and House in Rwanda
  • Multi-user mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • SiC Ltd is also provides HRMS platforms for different companies including employee management, payroll computation, attendance management and so on.

It is in this context that we are looking for passionate Full stack software developer intern to join our growing team and help us develop JiR Mobile App Software Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and address assigned tickets to propose and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop app core features (user authentication, job candidate features, employer features, REST API integration, notification and alerts, UI/UX design.)
  • Identify and resolve bugs reported by end-users to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Use JIRA to manage, track, and update assigned tasks for organized workflow management.
  • Utilize Git for versioning the source code and manage repositories on Bitbucket.
  • An intern should dedicate a minimum of six hours a day to the project

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Flutter or React Native for mobile application development
  • Strong experience with REST API integration is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Firebase for authentication and implementing push notifications using FCM is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Git operations, including commit, push, pull, and pull requests.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience using ticket management systems is beneficial.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to dedicate a minimum of six hours daily to project responsibilities.
