Job Title: HR Operations Intern
Location: Kigali- Rwanda

Reports To: HR Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to support our Human Resources team in recruitment, coordination, and day-to-day HR activities. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience or prior training in HR or recruitment, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in HR operations while being exposed to HR systems and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements across platforms
- Screen applications and shortlist candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers
- Support onboarding and pre-employment processes
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRMS
- Assist in preparing HR documents (contracts, letters, reports)
- Support attendance tracking and HR documentation
- Ensure proper filing and compliance with HR procedures
HR Systems & Business Support
- Support implementation and use of HRMS tools
- Assist in sales of HRMS Services to internal or external users (training will be provided)
- Provide occasional support to the team on client coordination and follow-ups
- Contribute to improving HR processes and systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, recruitment or relevant HR training/internship
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
