EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)FOR PROVISION OF DRIVING SERVICES 

Africa Development Consultant Limited (ADC) is a consultancy firm registered by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and located at Kisementi, Remera Sector, Gasabo district, Kigali City, with a mission to offer Business Development Services that focus on the needs of enterprises. We hereby invite qualified and experienced drivers/service providers to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of driving services. 

ADC is implementing AGRA project namely “ Youth Entrepreneurship for the future of food and Agriculture (YAFFA) in eastern province of Rwanda. The driving services are required for supporting the implementation of the activities, where the driver will be given a task order when services are required.

2. Service Title
   Transport Service Provider (Driver)
3. Scope of Services
   The selected service provider will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Driving ADC vehicles to transport YEFFA team to and from project sites. 
• Ensuring the safety and security of the vehicle at all times
• Maintaining the vehicle in good working condition in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Ensuring valid insurance and up-to-date technical inspection (contrôle technique)
• Maintaining and updating the vehicle logbook, ensuring all trips are properly recorded and signed
• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
• Advising management on routine servicing, maintenance, and necessary repairs
• Providing logistical support when required
• Performing any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Ensuring timely payment of any traffic fines incurred

4. Work Arrangement

• Work schedules will be communicated weekly
• The service provider must sign timesheets for all working days

5. Remuneration

• Service fee shall be per day (all taxes inclusive)

6. Payment Terms
   Payment will be made via bank transfer upon submission of the following:

• Invoice/EBM
• Approved timesheets
• Copy of the vehicle logbook

7. Eligibility Criteria
   Interested candidates must:

• Possess a valid driving license (Category B or above)
• Have proven driving experience with a good track record of at least seven years
• Demonstrate knowledge of Kigali City and upcountry routes
• Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and good communication skills
• Have no history of traffic offenses

8. Submission of Expression of Interest
   Interested candidates are invited to submit their Expression of Interest including:

• A cover letter
• CV with 3 referees
• Copy of valid driving license
• Having experience with international organizations is an added advantage
• Registration certificate from RDB as Transport service provider
• Amount (fee) charged for service per day (all taxes inclusive)
