CALL FOR PROPOSALS – RECRUITMENT OF CONTRACTOR FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND ACADEMIC CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR RSOG AT NYAGARATARE DISTRICT HOSPITAL

Dear Vendor, 

The Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RSOG) hereby invite qualified construction firms to submit proposals for the construction of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Academic Center of Excellence at Nyagatare District Hospital at Nyagatare District, Eastern Province, Rwanda.

The objective of the project is to establish a modern hub that strengthens sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services while enhancing training, research, and community awareness and outreach. The contract duration is eight (8) months for construction, followed by a 12-month Defects Liability Period (DLP), and the contract will be based on the FIDIC Red Book 2017. 

This is an open competitive bidding process using a single-envelope system, whereby bidders shall submit both the technical and financial proposals enclosed in one sealed envelope.

For interested bidders, bidding documents, including the detailed Terms of Reference, BOQ and design will be made available upon submission of the proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of RWF 50,000 (Fifty thousand Rwandan francs) deposited to the account no: 100088534748 of Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists at Bank of Kigali with a description of ‘Construction Tender Fee’.

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled on 18th February from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Nyagatare District Hospital. 

Interested bidders must deliver sealed bids and proof of site visit in person to the RSOG Office located at KG 546 St, KEA 2nd Floor, Building B, Gasabo District, Kigali, Rwanda, no later than 10th March 2026 at 1:00PM. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 1:30PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
