Society for Family Health (SFH), Rwanda is a non-profit organization in Rwanda. It is the largest social marketing organization in Rwanda, with five regional offices across the country. CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Subject: Management of First- and Second-Generation Health Posts Under the Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) Model:

The Management of Society for Family Health (SFH) Rwanda, in collaboration with the Districts of Bugesera, Kirehe, Ngoma, Nyaruguru, Nyamagabe, Nyanza, Rubavu, Gisagara, Gicumbi, Rusizi, and Rutsiro, hereby invites qualified and interested Rwandan professionals and private operators to apply for the management of selected First-Generation Health Posts (FGHPs) and Second-Generation Health Posts (SGHPs) under the Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) model.

  1. Eligibility Requirements
  • Be a Rwandan citizen
  • Hold at least an A2, A1, or A0 qualification in Nursing, Midwifery, or any other Clinical field. 
  • Possess a valid professional license issued by NCNM, RAHPC, or any other professional council
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
  • Demonstrate adequate computer literacy and administrative capacity
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a health facility under the PPCP model
  • Be willing and able to recruit and maintain all required staff

Note: Non-Clinical Rwandans who are willing to invest in health post management may also apply, on a condition that they present a qualified clinician who will lead the clinical services of the health post.

  1. Staffing Requirements

For Second-Generation Health Posts (SGHPs):

  • Two (2) Nurses
  • One (1) Midwife
  • One (1) Laboratory Technician
  • One (1) Dental Therapist (where applicable)
  • One (1) Ophthalmology Clinical Officer (where applicable)

For First-Generation Health Posts (FGHPs):

  • One (1) Qualified Nurse

  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copy of academic diploma or degree
  • Copy of National ID or Passport
  • Copy of valid professional license
  • Work experience certificates or recommendation letters
  • Bank statement or bank attestation proving financial capacity

Note: In case either of these Health Posts is currently PRIVATELY operated, the Operator will submit ALL the above documents plus a letter of Recommendation from the respective district to allow for direct qualification and award of the health post during the recruitment process.
