Participation Fee – 6 months for 350,000rwf

The comprehensive fee for the six-month training is 350,000 RWF. Participants have the option to make installment payments there is a pre-training registration fee of 100,000 RWF This also considered as first installment, 150,000RWF, Second installment and 100,000RWF Third Installment.

Note: Whether you opt for all modules or only a few, the participation fee remains the same, and the payment will be made after being selected for the program. 

The GreenStars capacity building initiative is designed IN-PERSON AND ONLINE TRAINING to encompass both the quantitative and qualitative spectrums of research methodologies. 

Duration of the program – 6-months for 350,000rwf

This in-person and online training program spans 6 months and consists of studying sessions twice a week (Weekend Sessions), scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

GreenStars will operate in three GreenCampuses, with first one located in Kigali, second one in Musanze District and the third one in Huye District, with plans to expand to other districts of the country soon.

• Musanze - Ruhengeri Referral Hospital Teaching Room
• Huye 

In the questionnaire included in the application, you will have the option to select the venue that is most convenient for you.

Starting Date

GreenStars intends to commence the training program on March 21, 2026, and aims to close (Graduation) the FOURTH COHORT by September 12, 2026. The Fifth COHORT starting date will be communicated.

Note: On the last Saturday of the month/Umuganda Day, the training starts from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

GreenStars Research Capacity Building welcomes all research enthusiasts. We would like to host as many applicants as possible but due to limited space, the applicants will go through a selection process. We have developed a set of questions each applicant must answer during the application process.

GreenStars' objective is to ensure that the delivery of all modules incorporates 70% practical, hands-on learning experiences. – 6 months for 350,000rwf

• Access to Pre-Paid Software: The STATA software will be made available to participants at no additional cost, as GreenStars has already obtained the required licenses for the tool as well as access to SurveyCTO platform, while R and Python are open-source programming languages.
• Connection: Upon program completion, GreenStars commits to connecting graduates with various organizations seeking researchers, Analysts, thereby facilitating their entry into the workforce
