About the Role
We are seeking motivated freelancers to join the Windows Community Forum team on Microsoft Learn. As a freelancer, you will play a vital role in supporting users worldwide by managing community threads, providing accurate solutions, and ensuring a positive experience for all members. This is a flexible, remote opportunity designed for individuals who want to grow their technical expertise while earning income.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage community threads: Review and respond to user questions in the Windows Community forum.
- Provide solutions: Research issues using approved knowledge bases and training materials to deliver clear, solution-oriented answers.
- Escalate complex issues: Flag unresolved or advanced cases for senior support or moderator review.
- Follow up: Ensure community members feel supported and satisfied with the resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality: Protect user data and adhere strictly to Microsoft’s Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a professional, respectful, and empathetic tone.
- Ability to follow community guidelines and training materials closely.
- Technical knowledge of Windows and Microsoft products is preferred.
- Experience in online support, customer service, or technical troubleshooting is a plus.
- Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and solution-oriented responses.
Training & Tools Provided
- Community Guidelines and etiquette training.
- Access to Knowledge Base documents, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Hands-on practice with the IXPT Tool for thread management.
- Simulated practice threads to build confidence before handling live cases.
Compensation
- Payment is based on mark/unmark actions and overall contribution quality.
- Rates are defined per marked and unmarked thread.
- Payments are processed monthly via bank transfer.
