Benishyaka is a leading community development organization, actively empowering and transforming the livelihoods of vulnerable communities to access knowledge, skills and capital for sustainable development, in partnership with CARE International -Rwanda and our Umbrella. Organization Pro-Femmes/Twese Hamwe (PFTH), is implementing a five-year project named Gender Equality and Resilience(GEAR) Project in Districts of Kayonza and Gatsibo in the Eastern Province of Rwanda.

The GEAR Project will be working with low income women, girls, and youth thus contributing to gender equality and increasing social and economic resilience of women and girls in the project area.

GEAR will be implemented within two districts by two field staff who will need to travel frequently across the district for the implementation of field activities. To be able to cover all these areas of intervention, there is a need of 3 motorcycles for field staff and M&E officer so as to ensure a well implementation of field activities at District level. Therefore, BENISHYAKA HEADQUARTERS in Kimironko invites all eligible bidders to submit bids for tender supply of 3 motorcycles.

Notice: Prior to delivery, all supplies, including motorcycles and their accessories, will be inspected by BENISHYAKA to ensure they meet the specified technical requirements.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for bid, you must provide:

  • Copy of trading certificate
  • A valid Tax clearance certificate
  • Certificate of RSSB
  • 2 certificates of good completion for supplying motorcycles
  • A commitment letter to deliver in a period not exceeding 7 working days after receiving the purchase order /contract (delivery place is BENISHYAKA headquarters)

Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Executive Secretary of BENISHYAKA at Kimironko head office no later than Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00AM

  • Enquiries regarding this tender may be addressed to Benishyaka HEADQUARTERS in the office of Executive Secretary not later than seven (7) days before the fixed date for the submission of bids.
  • Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in two copies one of which is the original must reach the Benishyaka head office at the address mentioned above Notlater than 18/10/2024 at 10h00: am] Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
  • Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on 18/10/2024 at BENISHYAKA head office at 10h30:amfor further information, please contact the Benishyaka at benishyakaorganisation@gmail.com  
  • The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.
