The Tegura Ejo (EduCare) Project (2026–2029) is an integrated, child-centred, systems-strengthening initiative implemented by SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda in partnership with relevant Government institutions and community stakeholders (IZUs, child protection actors and more, as indicated in the project reach and categories) across Musanze, Huye, and Nyamagabe Districts, and with SOS Children’s Villages Denmark. Tegura Ejo takes point of departure in the evidence, achievements and lessons learned from the Kura Umenye Project, which includes comprehensive baseline, midterm, and final evaluations, a sustainability assessment, and consistent monitoring data. Tegura Ejo responds to the recognition that children’s educational outcomes cannot be sustainably improved through classroom-based interventions alone; rather, learning is shaped by the interaction of household economic conditions, parenting practices, psychosocial wellbeing, school environments and the availability of responsive community and institutional support. SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES RWANDA hereby invites Individuals who are qualified to express the interest in conducting a baseline survey for Tegura Ejo (EduCare) Project.
Participation is open on equal conditions to all individuals specialized in the field. The individuals must be registered with Rwanda Development Board and should not be on the blacklist recorded of any recognized national or international Institution.
