Subject: Tender Notice for External Audit Services – Financial Year 2025
The BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE (BSM) hereby invites eligible, qualified, and registered external audit firms to submit bids for the provision of external audit services for the financial year ending 31st December 2025.
Scope of the Assignment
The assignment will include, but is not limited to:
- Audit of the SACCO’s financial statements for the year 2025(include: 15 U-USACCOs from 01/01/2025 to 11/08/2025 and Consolidated D-SACCO named BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE from 11/08/2025 to 31/12/2025)
- Review of internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assessment of financial management and reporting systems
- Issuance of an independent external audit report and management letter
- To certify the Financial statement of BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE (BSM) for the year ended 31 Dec 2025
Eligibility Requirements
Interested bidders must:
- Be legally registered and licensed by BNR to operate as external auditors
- Be in good standing with the relevant professional and regulatory bodies
- Demonstrate proven experience in auditing SACCOs, cooperatives, or financial institutions
Submit all required legal and technical documents as specified in the bidding documents
Tender Documents
Tender documents should be obtained from the BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE (BSM) head quarter office during official working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 20,000 rwf on Bank account 100228797377 opened in Bank of Kigali in the name of BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE.
Submission of Bids
Completed bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked:
“Tender for External Audit Services – Financial Year 2025” and delivered to the address below on or before 5/02/2026 at 11:00 AM. Late submissions shall not be considered.
Opening of Bids
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives on 5/02/2026 at 11:05 AM. at BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE (BSM) head quarter office. The BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE (BSM) reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in whole or in part without assigning any reason.
