Our academic programs are designed to equip students with foundational skills and attitudes, and subject matter expertise for direct entry to the workplace. Through our partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, we continue to support our students towards earning Bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Management while at the same time expanding our offerings, starting with the Bachelor of Arts in Project Management and the Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics. Over the next five years, Kepler College plans to serve more than 2,500 students while maintaining ninety percent of graduates securing gainful employment within six months after graduation.
Project Summary
Kepler College is expanding our degree offerings for our undergraduate students and creating a Master’s program in several content areas. One of the key new offerings will be in Sports Management, including two degrees:
- Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Sports Management
Kepler College is looking for an experienced professional in Sports Management with teaching experience to develop the curriculum for its Sports Management bachelor's degree program.
Consultancy Deliverables
- Detailed profiles of graduates of the BBA in Sports Management, including program-level learning outcomes for each degree and descriptions of what jobs students will be eligible for after graduation.
- Programme structures for the degree programmes, including details about the modules required for each degree programme, the number of credits for each module, the sequence of modules, and prerequisites if required.
- Kepler College has common modules that are offered across programs in general education and business/management content areas. The consultant will only be responsible for developing content for the subject-specific modules.
- Competencies for each degree (5 per module at the levels specified by the Higher Education Council), including indicators of success for each competency
- 15 modules in Sports Management at a Bachelor’s degree level
- Each module should be delivered in the Higher Education Council Module Description Form (Competency-based) format, and include the following:
- Summary (5 lines or less) of the module
- Three assessment summaries that are aligned to the competencies
- Note - These should be planned according to the Kepler College specifications for each assessment. The Dean of Faculty will provide this information upon contract signing during the onboarding process.

Deadlines: All materials must be completed by October 24, 2025. Some key milestones and associated dates will be communicated upon the agreement of these terms.
*Please note that deliverables can be completed before the deadlines, should the consultant wish to finish earlier. Consultants may need to continue to work on feedback after the deliverable due dates based on evaluation from Kepler College Staff.
*The consultant should be flexible to work with the Kepler College team, in a co-location setting, whenever needed.
Consultant Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Sports Management or related field required, PhD preferred
- Experience working in sports management or a related industry in Africa is strongly preferred
- Teaching experience at a higher-education level strongly preferred
- Experience planning or teaching in a competency-based or project-based learning style is preferred
- Experience with accreditation applications preferred but not required
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills required
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda is preferred but not required
