Research Assistant -Community Health and Social Medicine

The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is a groundbreaking health sciences university in Rwanda. An initiative of Partners In Health (PIH), UGHE is dedicated to training the next generation of global health professionals—including doctors, nurses, researchers, public health practitioners, and policy experts—to become leaders and changemakers committed to advancing equitable, high-quality healthcare for all.

The Department of Community Health and Social Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant to support a pilot feasibility study evaluating the use of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology for postpartum education and patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) collection among women recovering from caesarean delivery at Kirehe District Hospital.

This study is a collaboration between the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and has received ethical approval from the Mass General Brigham Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Rwanda National Ethics Committee (RNEC).
