Water Forever International is a Dutch owned company that started business in Kenya in 2014 and in Uganda in 2018. Over time we have become very successful and we now consider to set up business in Rwanda. For more see www.water-forever.com.
We are asocial enterprise that wants to offer services that really create value to societies, but we also look for profit and growth.
We now intend to set up business in Kigali and we look for an ambitious young person who is willing to work very hard and who can combine marketing and sales skills with a good capacity in planning and a hands-on mentality, which will include doing technical work. Your preferably have at least 3-5 relevant experience that can proof the above mentioned skills. If you do not fully recognize yourself in the description above, please don’t apply. Roles and requirements:
Roles:
- Business network development and proliferation within Rwanda. You report directly to the CEO in Kenya about all aspects of the business.
- You proactively develop relevant networks
- You practice low cost marketing techniques, including social media.
- You are responsible for Customer Relationship development and retention. Sales is a key-part of your job and the payment that you take home payment heavily depends on this.
- Technical implementation. Successful candidate will be trained in and expected to be involved in installing prepaid meters and providing technical after-sales support. Both roles require an interest and feeling for technique (hardware and software). The quality of your after-sales support will directly relate to the success of the company.
Requirements:
- You have an educational or practical background in Business Administration and combine this with an interest/feeling for technique (hardware/software) ORyou are Water Engineer who has proven to be good in Business Development.
- You have a hands-on attitude and you are flexible. You are ready to be practically involved in technical work as well as to take up new roles.
- You have excellent networking skills
- You have excellent sales capacities
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and look at this job in that perspective (see also the salary offer)
- You are proactive and ambitious.
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills, especially with in relation to dealing with customers and colleagues
- You are a problem solver (in terms of communication issues as well as in terms of technique)
- You are a hard worker with a zeal for servicing your country
- Experience in writing project proposals is an asset
- Strong computer skills are an asset
- Strong passion for societal development in line with our philosophy as a social enterprise.
- You are very honest and a person of high integrity
- You are flexible to travel to several parts of the country and incidentally also outside Rwanda.
- Having a driving licence and having an own car are assets
- You are flexible to work sometimes late or on weekend days.
- Fluent in English and preferably also in French

Salary offer:
- RWF 700,000-1,000,000 per month + bonuses. Bonuses depend partly on your general performance, but mostly on sales. We prefer candidates that want to grow with our new company: you start at a moderate salary, but your salary plus your bonuses can potentially grow to more than RWF …. per month within 2 years.
