Incorporated in September 2013, KTRN is the 4G LTE Infrastructure Company in Rwanda jointly established by Government of Rwanda(GoR) and Korea Telecom (KT) in a Public Private Partnership, with the main mission to achieve GoR’s connectivity and coverage goals for broadband network and service.

Since its commercial launch in November 2014, KTRN has made commendable milestones both in network rollout as well as 4G service penetration.

Currently, KTRN boasts of the largest 4G Network coverage in Rwanda with more

than 98% of the national population coverage.

Besides 4G Services, the company operates the biggest fiber network spanning over 4000 km of fiber around the country covering all districts and borders of Rwanda and it is leased to all operators for their business operations & expansion.

KTRN’s network is the only network in Rwanda providing technology convergence, facilitating value creation to Businesses.

Background:

KT Rwanda Networks, Ltd (“KTRN Ltd”) is a licensed company that has been incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing & installing 4G LTE advanced technology within Rwanda.

In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, KTRN Ltd is looking for a qualified and competent candidate to fill the vacant position below:

Position: Marketing, Products & Strategic Projects Manager (1):

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The marketing, products & Strategic Projects Manager will be responsible for digital marketing, Products & analysis, Project coordination, retailer support, market intelligence, branding, and website management.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other online channels to drive engagement, brand awareness, and business growth
  • Analyze product performance, conduct detailed competitor benchmarking, identify market gaps and opportunities, and provide insights to support product development, pricing, and positioning strategies that enhance the company’s competitive advantage
  • Collect and interpret market data and industry trends, and prepare market intelligence reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the company website, including content updates, design coordination, and analytics monitoring.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to prepare project proposals and tender bids, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
  • Provide product training, marketing support, and promotional guidance to retail partners.
  • Monitor retailer performance and implement strategies to improve sales and strengthen brand presence.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, product outcomes, and project deliverables

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Information Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry, with exposure to product development, Sales, project management, marketing, or retail operations/support.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in digital marketing, including analytics, social media management, campaign planning and execution, website/CMS administration, and brand development to drive engagement, visibility, and business growth.
  • Ability to understand telecommunications products, market dynamics, and conduct product comparison and analysis, as well as support product development to strengthen the company’s market positioning.
  • Ability to respond to project tenders, prepare bidding documents, and demonstrate strong project management skills, including coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering projects within deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and update company websites and perform basic artwork or marketing design (e.g., banners, promotional materials, digital assets) will be considered an added advantage.
