Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist in maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
  • Provide technical support to end-users in person, remotely, or over the phone
  • Set up new users’ accounts, permissions, and profiles
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates of systems and applications
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
  • Assist with IT projects and rollouts (e.g., new hardware, system upgrades)
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support or vendors

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware (PCs, printers, routers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MTA/MCSA
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow)

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time role; may require occasional evening or weekend work
  • On-site or hybrid support depending on the organization
