Position Overview
The Head of Programs is a senior leadership role responsible for designing, leading, and scaling high-impact programs that drive measurable outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker and execution-driven leader with a strong background in program development, fundraising, and monitoring & evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program strategy, design, and execution
- Drive fundraising efforts and write high-quality grant proposals
- Build strategic partnerships with donors and institutions
- Oversee implementation and ensure program quality
- Establish Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and KPIs
- Lead and mentor a high-performing programs team
- Contribute to organizational leadership and strategy
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in program leadership
- Strong fundraising and grant writing experience
- Expertise in program design, implementation, and M&E
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs
- Master’s degree preferred
Language Requirements
- English (Fluent)
- Kinyarwanda (Fluent)
- French (Preferred)
