This permanent, full-time position goes beyond routine compliance; it is an opportunity to empower project teams and national partners by translating complex data into meaningful insights and actionable project adaptations. Reporting to the programme officer, you will provide transversal technical support to projects currently under implementation, focusing on anchoring robust framework methodologies, facilitating internal and external evaluations, and ensuring that our external messaging honestly reflects our progress on the ground.

Title: Procurement of Egg Tray Production Line: 500 trays/hr Capacity

Maximum performance period of 5 months

Request for expressions of interest N° RWA/030 • 25 8353 “Procurement of Egg Tray Production Line: 500 trays/hr Capacity”. 

As part of the implementation of its activities, LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, on behalf of the ISHEMA Project “Improving Skills for Holistic Employment in Modern Agriculture” receiving financial support from the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, seeks to identify and shortlist qualified economic operators for the tender of “Procurement of Egg Tray Production Line: 500 trays/hr Capacity”. 

The maximum performance period of the contract is 5 months.

1. Objective and expected results of the contract 

The main objective of this contract is to supply, deliver, install, and commission a complete and fully integrated pulp-moulded egg tray production line, capable of processing recycled paper into finished packaging products and achieving a minimum continuous production capacity of 500 trays per hour under normal operating conditions.

The production system shall be designed to ensure stable, efficient, and reliable operation across all process stages, including pulping, forming, drying, and finishing.

The specific objectives of the assignment are to:

  • Produce standard and interchangeable packaging formats, including 30-cell egg trays and 6/10/12/18-cell egg boxes, with consistent quality in terms of strength, weight, and moisture content;
  • Ensure operational performance and sustainability, including durable equipment design, energy-efficient operation, safe working conditions, and suitability for continuous use in training and demonstration environments within the Centres of Excellence (CoEs).
  • Enable practical training and skills development in modern pulp-moulding and sustainable packaging technologies, using recycled paper as the primary raw material;

A Shortlist Selection Committee will meet to analyse the expressions of interest received, on the basis of the documentation provided and selection criteria and draw up a list of candidates who will be consulted for the next phase of the tender process.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a full offer.
