Capacity building programme on ITC Market Analysis Tools
The Trade and Market Intelligence section of International Trade Centre (ITC) through the MARKUP II under auspice of European Union is organizing capacity building workshop on market analysis and trade-related information. This intervention is built upon the concrete success of Phase I, where a network of certified trainers on ITC Market Analysis Tools was established in Tanzania in 2019 and it has independently introduced more than 250 companies around the country to how to make data-driven export decisions. Under MARKUP II, we are seeking to establish and expand a certified trainers’ network in all 6 EAC member states. Such a network will be instrumental in bringing about valuable autonomy in trade advocacy and in export market development. Within this context, ITC is looking for candidates who share the same vision in making trade market information available for all.
The programme offers 3 dynamic and progressive activities:
- 90-minute public webinar: How export success and trade development start with ITC Tools (October 2024)
- E-Learning courses on ITC Trade Map and Market Access Map (online: 2 courses over 3 weeks)
- Training of Trainers on ITC Trade Map and Market Access Map (in-person: 5 days)
