Position Title: Cooperative Manager

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Indatwa Gitega Cooperative is a registered business formed in 2014 by 280 RDF Reserve Force members. It provides waste collection and transportationoffice cleaning, and gardening services. Known for discipline and professionalism, the cooperative contributes to improved environmental hygiene.

Position Summary:

The Cooperative Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the cooperative’s operations. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, highly organized, and committed to advancing the mission and sustainability of Indatwa Gitega Cooperative.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide overall leadership and coordination of cooperative activities and services.
  2. Implement decisions of the Board of Directors and ensure timely reporting.
  3. Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and operational plans.
  4. Supervise staff, monitor performance, and ensure effective service delivery.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and cooperative bylaws.
  6. Maintain close collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Cooperative Management, or any other related field.
  2. At least 3 years of related experience.
  3. Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management tools.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. High level of integrity and accountability
