2. Purpose of the Job
|
|
The purpose of the job is to serves as a strategic bridge between BRD and D-Saccos and their respective branches, ensuring seamless communication, alignment of goals and objectives, and efficient delivery of BRD’s banking products, services, and projects.
- This position is responsible for driving business origination, loan pipeline development, and uptake of BRD products through SACCOs by translating business needs into actionable solutions and supporting the implementation, monitoring, and compliance of Credit Guarantee Facility operations at district level to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

3. Main Responsibilities of the Job
|
- Act as the primary point of contact between BRD and D-Sacco for BRD’s products, programs and other initiatives being implemented by D-Sacco.
- Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including D-Sacco team and branches to ensure clarity and alignment on products and priorities.
- Facilitate regular meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and track business needs
- Identify and follow up on all applications received to ensure timely process and response;
- Identify new prospect clients/projects in line with the BRD products through market visits,
- Provide advice and guidance to potential clients on their business proposals to mitigate risks.
- Collect the required project data and information through approaching the client and other relevant stake holders to enable the analysis of projects submitted to the bank.
- Undertake detailed loan/projects appraisal.
- Collect M&E data while assessing projects that will facilitate the social economic impact assessment to be reported to stakeholders (during appraisal).
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to BRD and D-Sacoo as required for each productTrain and support teams at the branches level on the available products and services.
- Support BRD during audits, portfolio reviews, donor missions, and field monitoring exercises.
- Fast track the loan application process across the branches and advise where necessary.
- Handling client inquiries.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor both at D-Sacco and BRD.

6. Professional, academic qualifications and experience
|
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Management, economics or related field
- A minimum of 2 years in similar or related position.
