5. DATA ANALYST
Reports to: IT Operations Manager

Age Limit: 35

- Being a Rwandan by Nationality;
- Having a Bachelor degree in computer science (or) Information Technology (or) Electrical (or) related field
- Having in-depth knowledge of experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle;
- Having in-depth knowledge of Power BI
- Experience: at least 3+ years’ experience as Data analyst or DBA
Skills& knowledge
- Proficient in SQL, relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and Excel
- Familiarity with .NET, scripting languages (Python, R), and data visualization tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources into usable formats.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scheduled and ad-hoc reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Conduct trend analysis and interpret results to provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Validate report outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation of reports for reference and audits.
- Monitor data quality and work with relevant teams to resolve anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Extract and format data for regulatory and audit reporting.
- Collaborate with developers and business units to support data needs and troubleshoot issues.
- Generate reports and queries from the database as needed.
Business analysis
- Data Analysis and Reporting
