INTRODUCTION.
Rural Environment and Development Organization (REDO) is local NGO founded in 1999 and since its inception has been working to implement environmental conservation activities in the form of community livelihood improvement and advocating for the development of the community.
REDO’s Mission.
The mission of REDO is to empower the poor communities especially the Historically Marginalized People to actively participate in improving their livelihood conditions by working towards poverty eradication and improving food security and access to markets that provides poor women and men opportunities for economic and social advancement whilst in parallel instilling on environment protection from grass roots, through a participatory sustainable approach..

Under the financial support from Rwanda Green Fund (RGF), REDO is implementing the project entitled " Promoting climate smart agriculture for food security and climate resilience in Bugesera distict.”
With this project ,in order to protect all trees planted will be secured by providing technical backstopping and support for planted tree, watering,protection and maitenance .
REDO hereby invites national bidders for Providing technical backstopping and support for planted tree, watering,protection and maitenance. Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies or individuals specializing in the field of Providing technical backstopping and support for planted tree, watering,protection and maintenance as per lot and detailed specifications.

Instructions to Bids:
NB: Participation to the competition is open on equal opportunities and conditions to all companies, individuals with TIN Number.
- RDB registration certificate (matching the field)
- Valid Tax clearance certificate,
- Valid RSSB Certificate
- Valid EBM
- Referees or references certificates of similar tenders executed (At least three)
- Bid security of 5% of the total cost of the bid
Other Requirements:
- Detailed company profile,
- Your quotation should remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of submission.
- To have a workshop for providing technical backstopping and support for planted tree, watering, protection and maintenance.
- Proven experience of five years of similar activities in project area.
- Accept to give at least 12 months of liability period for following the technical backstopping and support for planted tree, watering, and protection and maintenance trees.
- Accept a warrant period of 2 years for protecting the trees, giving peace of mind for long-term use, Indicating producing quality & trustworthiness, and Helping as well to resolve issues without extra cost during the warranty period.
- Proof of site REDO guided visit
NB: Field visit will be on Friday, 16th.January.2026 at Bugesera District,Rweru sector,Batima Cell at Gasororo site where all bidders will meet at 10:00’Am at Rweru sector office.
Please submit your bid in the protected file on inforedo@yahoo.com not later than Friday, 23rd.January.2026, 5:00 PM, local time. The passwords will be requested by the procurement committee during evaluation.
Also, Bid hard copies will be submitted in two separated sealed envelopes on time at REDO’s Office.

-The Bids and Expression of Interest (EOI) can be sent in French or English and the Bids must be sent to REDO Email (inforedo@yahoo.com) no later than at 13h00 pm, Kigali Time. Late bids will be rejected.
-The opening of bids will take place on Monday, 26th.January.2026 at 10h30 AM at the Head Office of REDO in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
