Job Description
Groupe Duval – Retail/RHD is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of its store located at Inzovu Mall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high operational standards while contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of targets and KPIs
- Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff
- Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and minimize shrinkage
- Ensure visual merchandising aligns with company standards
- Prepare schedules and manage staffing to meet business needs
- Prepare, manage and monitor the store's expenses and budget, including controlling operating costs and maximizing profitability.
- Track and report on store expenses, sales figures, and other financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and store performance
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is an added advantage
- 6–8 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, inventory management, and staff scheduling
Desirable Skills
- Experience with retail and inventory management softwares
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Fluency in English and French
