We export a variety of fruits and vegetables across Europe and the Middle East, while also serving consumers in our local market.

We work with over 500 farmers across Rwanda, with farming operations spanning 200 hectares of land. Of the total hectarage, we operate 130 hectares as our own farm. SOUK Farms one of the leading horticultural exporters in Rwanda.

Innovation and superior business operations are the cornerstones of our strategy. Despite the challenges brought about by climate change and disruptive rainfall patterns, we have invested in researching ways to strengthen the resilience of our farms and maintain consistent supplies to our customers. For example, we are incorporating drip irrigation across all our farms in order to increase efficiency of water use.

INTRODUCTION TO SOUK FARMS

SOUK is an Agri-business investment company dedicated to the application of cutting-edge solutions in farming, trading, processing, and logistics. SOUK specializes in export of fresh horticulture produce from the beautiful and picturesque country of Rwanda. SOUK is driven by an overarching mission to become a sustainable agricultural food products provider and partner.

We aim to be at the forefront of pioneering innovation to improve the sustainability of agriculture in Africa. We are seeking to hire a HumanResource Business Partner to be based in our main office at Nyarutarama.

The Human Resource Business Partner will be responsible of aligning individual performance goals and company goals across all departments through a well-structured model of tracking performance and providing timely feedback towards supporting delivery of the HR Strategy

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Supportin company job evaluation process and alignment of 
  2. UndertakeQuarterly Performance Audits against Performance matrix across all 
  3. Assistingin setting and alignment of departmental P.
  4. Collaboratewith HR and leadership teams to establish performance metrics and evaluate employee performance.
  5. Facilitate performance evaluation and goal-setting discussions between managers and
  6. Provide feedback and coaching to employees to support their professional 
  7. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in performance management
  8. Develop and source for as well as deliver training programs to educate managers and employees on performance management best practices.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and developments in performance management and incorporate new ideas into programs and processes.
  10. Support in overseeing the company performance management 
  11. Support the management in undertaking performance 
  12. Ensure poor performance issues are addressed promptly and in line with the HR 
  13. Following up on monthly performance evaluations and Performance Improvement 
  14. Preparing Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly management analytic and bi-annual appraisal
  15. Support in aligning, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance initiatives with the overall company objectives.

Qualification,experience&requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
  • 5Years of work experience in Agriculture Sector, Manufacturing or other relevant sector with a focus on Performance Management, business processes and recruitment.
  • In-depthknowledge of HR principles, practices, and 
  • Exposureto Rwanda Labor Laws and employment regulation
  • Passionfor HR and positive workplace 
  • Experiencein agriculture/floriculture 
  • Ability to speak excellent, fluent English, and 

Critical Attributes Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving 
  • Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems and data analytics
  • Abilityto comprehend and apply applicable laws and 
  • Abilityto follow through HR 
  • Stake holder management and relationship-building 
  • Change management and project management capabilities
