Background and Rationale
In today’s digital economy, data is the new oil, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from it has become essential for businesses, governments, and professionals worldwide. Organizations are increasingly adopting data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive evidence-based decision-making, optimize operations, and accelerate innovation.
Despite this global trend, many regions in Africa, including Rwanda, face a significant skills gap in advanced data analytics and practical AI application. Professionals and organizations often lack the expertise to leverage modern platforms such as Power BI, and generative AI tools, limiting competitiveness in an increasingly data-driven global market.
The Data Analytics & Generative AI Program is designed to bridge this gap by providing hands-on, industry-relevant training. Participants will gain practical experience with widely used analytics tools and learn to apply generative AI for smarter insights, process automation, and innovative problem-solving.
This program equips learners with the skills and confidence to analyze, visualize, and interpret data effectively, transforming them into professionals capable of addressing real-world business and operational challenges.
